Hi, how’s it going? This blog is about setting and achieving goals. Not just ordinary goals, but extraordinary goals, Check out my current goal list here, or browse through some of the articles below.
Mondays are horrible days. But today wasn’t that bad. I think I”m used to waking up at six. It doesn’t seem that early but it sure is dark! So my alarm goes off at 5.59 – I hit snooze and it comes back on 7 mins later. I hit snooze once more and Thomas the Tank Engine finally gets me up. (I have that as my ringtone – I don’t know why!) Its funny actually – in between snoozes I’m dead to the world. When the alarm comes on I’m wide awake instantly. I must be really conditioned to it!
Anyway… So I got up and made breakfast. An orange, half an apple, and half a kiwi with some plain unsweetened yoghurt. Its good! Now that I’m back ‘home’ I’m making my Dad eat better too. Not that he ate ‘badly’ – but just a few too many carbs in the beginning of the day. So he ate the same as us. And I gave him some fruit for the day too.
After I went on a mission to stock up with more fruit, I had a workout – yay! Monday of Mahler’s beginner program. Its good having some sort of program to stick with – so you’re not just doing ‘what you feel like’.
Oh gosh I’m having a bit of trouble remember what I ate! I had a mandarin, two feijoas, oh – I remember now. I had an Avocado and a half for ‘lunch’ and later in the day had some chicken. Not the best – but hey it is protein! Dinner was a big meal.
I made a carrot and cabbage salad with lemon and lime juice drizzled over – and a crunch was added with some pumpkin seeds. Then we had steamed broccoli and cauliflower, with rice and a bean stew/con carne thingy. It was like a chili but without the mince. Still tasted good! Oh and don’t forget the grated cheese on top. Mmm. Dessert was my special iced coffee – sugar free!

Yum… sounds like a delicious day. I can’t wait for the feijoa to come into season here!
