Three Week Blitz - Week 2 Day 3

I went for a run today. And man was it cold! My legs were so sluggish - I usually warm up for about 10-12 mins - but I just wasn’t getting any warmer!! After a 10 minute run around the block - well, heaving myself around the block - I started some HIIT training (article coming on that!) and did it for about 15 mins. I must be getting more fit because I never used to be able to do HIIT for that long! Maybe I didn’t go hard out enough… or maybe I”m just smart! Yeah so I was really sluggish. Maybe I need a new pair of running shoes!!

What did I eat today. I was better than other days, probably cos I was more busy. Breakfast was a smoothie again… and then after my run I had some almonds. Later in the day I raided the fridge (a dangerous thing to do) and stole some pickled onions. 3 of them. I love pickled onions! Then I pinched a bit of tinned salmon and gulped down some water. Better than yesterday! I met Elliot in town for lunch - which was a Granny smith apple and some more almonds. I didn’t eat anything until dinner - but I did have some more water. Dinner was a Thai style stir-fry (thanks Mom!) of rice noodles, and various veges like courgette, carrot, onion, bell pepper, etc. Very yum! As well as that there was a salad of cucumber and tomato, and some bread with butter and basil. Mmm… dessert was fresh pineapple. I love pineapple - just not on pizza or in dinner dishes. Ick! It has to be fresh or in something sweet.

So yeah, I’m on a positive again… yesterday I was a bit down about not making progress and now I made some better eating choice so I’m happy again.

Nearly finished two weeks!
