I didn’t really feel like working out today. But I had a really busy day so I had to workout really quickly! It looked hilarious – well it must have! I did Mahler’s Thursday beginner workout at top speed. I think its good to do it really fast sometimes cos you burn even more! I was puffin like crazy – I bet I’ll feel something tomorrow!
Busyness is good for me. I forget to eat. And that is actually a good thing because the warrior diet is about controlled fasting during the day – which I’m not too good at. I had a breakfast smoothie like usual. After my lightning quick workout I had a handful of almonds – and a drink of water! During the day I ate 2 mandarins, an apple, and a kiwifruit. So, not very much! Dinner was a fresh salad, steamed veges, mashed potato and baked salmon. Mmm! It was good – I was so hungry, I ate too fast and felt over full as a result. Actually I think salmon is very filling. But if I had eaten slower I could have eaten more I think. Dessert was half a tamarillo, half an orange and some applesauce. We were at friends – and they served up some delectable looking donuts. Big sigh. But Elliot and I steadfastly declined. Luckily there were other people there and we didn’t have to feel too bad!
I drank quite a bit of water today. I’m proud of myself! I had I think 5 or 6 glasses which is WAY more than other days this week. If only I can keep it up!
Tomorrow is Friday and I have to work. Can’t wait- its a new job! And in the city too… I’m not a city fan but there is something about working in the city that makes one feel important…
