Last Friday seemed relaxed compared to this! Elliot and I had to leave the house at 7 – so it was a bit of a rush getting ready to go, etc.
But we still had our breakfast smoothie of similar ingredients, and got enough fruit to take along. I wasn’t intending to stay at work after 11.30 but my boss and I just kept chatting… it was nice! I met Elliot for lunch – had to dash into a corner store – and devoured a tin of tuna and a banana. The banana cost a whole dollar! Preposterous! It was quite rich but hey what can you do? I suppose I should have just fasted… sorry Ori!
When I came home I had a lightning quick workout – surprised how fast it took actually! I did the Friday beginner kettlebell workout. I think the reason it was so fast is because I did the A1, then A2, then C1 sets – then repeated without breaks. Then B1, B2, C2. The C sets are less intense so it provides a bit of a breather without stopping.
Dinner was another BYO takeaway – hmm – but there was fresh homemade pumpkin and tomato soup… I guess once a week is a bit much for so much icky food – so next week I think I’ll bring a salad. Elliot and I actually contributed a cheesecake this week! We’re still off sugar so I made it with honey. It was so good! Except for the base – that didn’t turn out so it was all gooey. It wasn’t so good warm, but cold was finger-lickin excellent.
So that was my Friday. Busy, eventful – and not too hot on the food side of things. I did drink a lot more water though – so I’m improving on something!
