Three Week Blitz - Week 3 Day 5

Fridays are also busy days for me now. We have to leave the house by 7 (translate: 7.12!) so its a mad rush… today was even more mad! Still have time to make a smoothie tho so thats all good…

The smoothie was yum as usual. I made a concoction of salmon and tomato for lunch and 2 boiled eggs. However, my lunch was left behind in the rush - and when my Dad ate his portion of it, he said the tomato sauce was slightly ‘off’. Oops… I’m glad I didn’t have it!

So I kinda starved today - which is a good thing - smoothie for breakfast, apple for lunch - but my nose was dripping so chronically that I went and bought a bag of mandarins and a bag of feijoas. I ate I dunno, 3  mandarins and 3 feijoas… just needed the boost of vitamin C. I also bought water (shock horror!) and drank out of a plastic bottle… ick!

I ate a boiled egg around 5.30 when I got home and then made dinner which was: curry chicken, chicken soysauce, rice, roast carrot, onion, kumara and potato and a salad. Pretty good really - I ate a bit much though… it didn’t feel like that much but maybe my stomach has shrunk… I made a gluten free strudel type dessert - sugar free too! Just a nice pastry filled with apples, raisins, peaches and raspberries with a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg. It was really good! We had cream with it too that was sweetened with maple syrup. While others ate chocolates I ate peanuts out of the shells. Not as bad as other Friday nights!!

But - I didn’t workout today. A bit disappointing since my last workout was Tuesday. There just wasn’t time. How do you do workouts if there is no time in the day? Plus I was feeling pretty naf so… I think I’ll workout on Saturday though.

Well I’m coming to the end of this blitz thing. Have I made progress? Was it worth it? I’ll write more on the weekend.
