One thing that has really helped me is snowballing my progress (http://www.takefit.com/13/the-snowball-effect/).  Instead of trying to change everything at once, just take baby steps.  A whole lot of small accomplishments will eventually lead to one big accomplishment!</description>

		<description>Hi Elliot - I know what you mean about the holiday slide - for me it was travel to Malaysia and Indonesia and I just ate whatever I wanted.  Because I&#039;d lost the motivation to keep fit and healthy I didn&#039;t continue on the right path when I got back home - instead I continued eating anything and everything.

I&#039;m also in the progress of getting more active and eating better but I&#039;m way behind you - I&#039;m nowhere near as fit and active.  I&#039;m looking forward to some hard work and good results in 2009 ahead of me!</description>
