About Take Fit
Do you want six-pack abs? Do you want a 40″ vertical and be able to dunk a basketball? Do you want transform your scrawny physique and pack some muscle on your frame?
If you’ve said ‘yes’ to any of the above then you’ll probably want to stick around here for a while. I like to be able to do hard things and that’s what I’m setting out to do by putting these goals in writing.
- Get six-pack abs (current goal)
This isn’t hard, I’ve done it a couple of times before. The key things is finding a diet and workout schedule that works for you. Having six-pack abs means having a low body fat percentage, which means it’s not a fitness goal, it’s a lifestyle decision.
- Have a 40″+ vertical jump
I love basketball. I’m not that good at it, but I love to play and am a big fan. There are a number of fitness benchmarks you can set yourself (run a mile in X minutes, bench press X lbs) for me my goal is to get to a 40″ running vertical, as well as being able to dunk a basketball on a 10 foot hoop when I’m 60.
- Get to 90kg with 10% body fat
I’ve always been tall and scrawny. I’ll probably also be that way unless I put on a whole heap more weight (I’m currently 67kg). I’m hoping to hit 90kg with 10% body weight, after that I’ll allow my weight to drop naturally over the years (in order not to sabotage my #2 goal).
Follow along on this blog and see how I go in completing these goals!
